Aptos...Our little getaway!

Brad and I took a few days and went down to Northern California for a getaway.
It was such a great trip.
We stayed at Gregg and Crystals house for a couple of nights too!
(thanks guys)
We were able to see Lexi in the "Sleepy Hollow" . Sad I didn't get a picture. But it was really cute.

We then drove down to Aptos near Santa Cruz.
It was such a quiet cute town right along the coast.
We took a walk to the pier a couple of times in the morning and they had this cool cement ship that was built back during WWII
The weather was perfect, the scenery was perfect and the company was perfect.
WE LOVED IT THERE!

It also just so happened to be during the NLCS Playoff games and we were able to snag game 7 tickets.
What a year to get into baseball and become a giants fan.
Every where we went people were talking about the giants and really got into it.
I know its blurry but it's the only picture I got of us in our giants gear.
Before the game a beautiful rainbow went over the stadium. We took it as a sign of a win.
Guess we were right. :)
In the 9th inning it literally down poured on us. We were drenched. ;)

We went to the Montery Bay aquarium and really thought that was cool. My favorite was the open water tank with all the different fish swimming around.

We took the 17 mile drive through Pebble Beach.
So beautiful.

We spent some time near the Santa Cruz pier and had dinner.

We also went to Natural Bridge State Beach. The tide was too high so we couldn't go under the bridge but it was so pretty.

On our last day we went to the Winchester Mystery house.
You couldn't take pictures inside.
But let's just say that Mrs. Winchester had a unique sense of architecture. She didn't stop building it until the day she died. Doors that led to walls. Stairs that led to know where. It was crazy cool!
We had so much fun...
and the cherry on top.
Coming home Sunday evening and watching the Giants win the World Series in a 4 game sweep.
Humm Baby!

We just love spending time with each other.
Another fun vacation filled with lots of fun memories!
